Feta, which means “large block of cheese,” was traditionally thought to have originated in the rocky terrain of Greece, but some argue that it first appeared in Denmark. In Greece it was first made with sheep’s milk but is now more commonly made with goat’s milk.

We make our feta with cows milk and are very pleased with the results.
